Backup Camera 2014 Expedition

Hello,

Should the boxes or zones on my backup camera change color as you get closer to an object. It beeps but the boxes don't change color. I do see the green, yellow and red zones. The only settings I can see are day/night or volume.

Can't speak for a 2014 specifically, but on my 2010 and 2012 they do not change.

Is it just a box with colored lines on it with a white line in the center? It beeps when you get closer to something but that's it.

You asked the question on a different forum and I typed out a longer answer but the short is no it does not "bend" or change when objects are close or the wheels turn.
