Sync ring tones

Sync ring tones
My '14 STX has the entry level Sync system, which has 3 standard ring tones. All three choices are slightly ridiculous sounding, and I'm wondering if they can be changed ? I think I can use ring tones from my phone, but it stays on vibrate 100% of the time.

Check out page 334 and 335 of your Owner's Manual. As you can see, phones that support in-band ringing will play your phone's ringtone when the PHONE RINGER option is chosen: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo...US_03_2014.pdf
There is no way to change the 3 ringtones that are already available within the system.

i shut mine off in the menu. When a call comes in, it still shuts down the stereo, shows the call in the dash-display and the phone's ringer sounds, which is easy to hear since the sound on the stereo is muted. I hated those ringers too!
