I'll agree that the oil pressure, 30-60psi is much greater that the water pressure from the supply line.

A question is, is oil leaking out of the oil cooler, or did you "cap" the open ends also??

Also, if you keep getting oil in the coolant, then you really should do a compression check on the engine, to see if you have some internal damage, like a blown head gasket.
I know this is completely irrelevant to this thread but I need some help with my e150.
Here's the problem,
The van will literally randomly shut off. I could be driving down the road, or just letting it idle in my yard and all of a sudden it shuts off. There is no spuddering, doesn't sound like its gonna shut off, it just does. Now, I have a long list of things I have had done to the van and none of them have worked. Please help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

You could have started a new tread about this.

First, more info on the van is needed, like year, engine, transmission.
(19XX, 5.8, E4od) E150. Mileage.

The year is what really matters, difference between OBDI and OBDII.

If you can get code read out of the OBD, that's a start.

Could be as simple as a fuel delivery issue (pump, filter)
Or one of many sensors that are malfunctioning.
All the way to a bad ECU, leaking capacitors.

Oh, and welcome to the FTE - Full Size Vans forum

My knowledge base is the '92-'95 era vans, what I have now, and work on.
Although, I've had Ford vans since '74, starting with a 1970 butt noise.

So, don't be afraid to post you question on the main board, with all the details you can, there are many very knowable people here, that are always trying to help others with their experiences.

1997 ford e150 5.4 triton. Mileage is around 130k. Here is a list of things we have already done to it:
Replaced-
Battery
Altinator
Crank shaft sensor
Cam shaft sensor
Throttle positioning sensor
PCM relay
Fuel pump relay
PCM diode
Had aftermarket security system, which we disconnected and replaced original wiring
Ignition in column replaced
Replaced PCM itself

When the van shuts down there is no power to the pcm. We put scanner on it and only got a code for the egr valve so we left it running with the scanner on it and waited for the van to shut down, and when it did shut off, the scanner got no power. Also, the fuse which goes through the cigarette lighter does not pop which runs the power port where the scanner plugs in under the dash, and when I turn off the key and turn it back on the scanner comes back on with no codes and the van starts back up.

Hi anon, welcome to FTE!

I split your post off into its own separate thread. This way we can focus on your issue without confusing it with the other topic, which was completely different.
