'73 F250 header ?

'73 F250 header ?
I'm having some issues deciding on some headers for my 73 F250 2wd 460 trailer special with a C6 auto. Hedman elite 89840 look very nice at $459.97 @ Summit. My problem is Hedman shows it only fitting 74 and up f250's. Has anyone out there used it on their 73 like mine. I'm would think there is no difference between the 73 and 74. Any ideas?

Thanks but I think I'll keep mine. Does anyone know if the 73 trailer special f250 is any different than the 74 and up? Or did they change something on the sway bar or suspension in 74 that would make the 460 headers different.

I believe the difference is that early Camper Specials have the swaybar attached to the radius arms and going under the back side of the engine, rather than towards the front of the engine and radiator, which would interfere with the headers dropping down and back. I would look to see where the swaybar is at because other header manufacturers put a note in their fitment guides with a separation between 67-72 and 73-76 for the FE engines in the CS. Beyond that, others will probably have more real experience with the 460. Most Camper and Trailer Specials seem to be equipped very similarly
