I blasted and painted the 2 original mirror arms I bought recently and mounted the one mirror head that came with one of the arms. I really like it. It does not shake and make vision difficult! Now I want one for my passenger side! They look much better than the K-Mart specials I had on. The mirror I am looking for is square, it measures about 6" square. I don't mean those fancy chrome round mirrors they sell that everybody buys. I need the ugly black one that originally came on the '53-'56 trucks.
thanks, abe
does it matter which side? Passenger side? Driver's side? Did you try wrecking yards? Let me know, there's a wrecking yard in town, I could check for you if interested...
Darryl,
The mirror is the same driver or passenger side. The mirrors in here in PA are all rusted out. If you live in the dry part of Calif. check the junk yards. Thanks! let me know if you find any,
abe
I mentioned it today while I was at the wrecking yard. He wasn't sure if he had the mirror, but said he would check. Knowing James, he probably forgot since he was preoccupied with his kids! So, I'll remind him tomorrow a.m. again. I'll let you know what the verdict is...
