Greetings From SF!
Hi all - long time F 250 Super Cab 4x4 owner. All is not great as the time has come to move my 1978 F 250 in favor of something more compatible with overreaching California Smog Laws. To that end I need some advice. I have a complete, albeit very rusty truck, that is not running. It has a 400M/C6 with a Dana 44 in front and a Dana 60 in back. NP transfer case. I do have a solid rust free cab in storage near Sacramento.
I don't want to scrap the truck as there are lots of good parts but my question is how much of a market is there for DANA axles and NP transfer cases?
I'll get next to nothing if I scrap it - if I part it out I could be on my way to my next F series.
