When I was a kid, TONKA made a really good one that you just had to push. now I dont know with the utmost of certainty that it will haul the 20-30 ton load you speak of, but it sure seemed like alot at the time(to a 4 year old). Color choice is limited, if that bothers you.

So does this mean second hand smoke is off the hook? When I die from cancer I can blame it on being around trucks for 25+ years and not the 2-3 packs of cigerettes I smoke in a day.
I did that one time, I was pumping off a load when the retaining band broke and let the 3" fitting slide out of the end of the hose. It then turned into a giant "Water Wiggle" and hosed me right in the crotch, I was soaked from the waste down. Didn't start to burn for about oh, 2 or 3 minutes
On the bright side, I'm glad is wasn't gas...but clean up on gas would have been quicker, just toss a match, WOOF.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 05-Sep-02 AT 07:26 PM (EST)]Look hard enough, feed enough rats enough of anything, and you can find a reason to label it a health risk. People that have an agenda (maybe vendetta would be a better word) will use minute risks that are blown out of proportion to scare others into believing as they do. Compound that with the way a story grows in the telling and pretty soon everything we know is dangerous. As was said, drinking diesel is most likely a health risk, as are inhaling fumes over long periods of time. Intelligent people realize there are risks all around us and do what they can to minimize their exposure to those risks. Avoiding them completely is pretty much out of the question for most things (i.e. water, sunlight, you get the picture).
Carlene I don't think you have anything to worry about......at least in our lifetime. Then again, it might be fun to watch a macho trucker climb into his big rig, hear those air brakes release with a loud whoosh, and watch him silently drive away.......lol. (No offense to our trucking friends, but ya'll do love that black smoke pourin outta twin chrome stacks dontcha)?
Ron
Edit to correct spelling.........(dang spellcheck stopped workin again......grrrrrrr).
