Replace Glow Plugs When Doing New Heads?
I will be replacing the heads on my 06 172k miles. Should I put new Motorcraft glow plugs in while I am at it. I have no idea of the lifespan of these. Thanks.

I personally would, I have worked on a truck that had 5 of the 8 failed. They were Motorcraft plugs installed, didn't start for crap but this is an 05 with 150k on it. My 03 still has all of the original gps without a problem. It's 80 bucks but make sure you get Motorcraft and the right length. I don't remember which one is which but there is a marginal length difference between the 03 04 and the 05 + 6.0s.
