Windshield replacement

Has anyone ever replaced a windshield. I am junking out a perfectly good running truck, cause it wont sell. It has a good windshield. (1990 F250) I want to transfer it to my 93. Is it a big pain? I can order aftermarket glass for $99.

Windshield replacement

BIIIIIIIIIG pain. You have to use a piece of piano wire to cut the adhesive, and it's a nightmare. If you try to put ANY blade in there, the glass will crack.

Thanks man, I am thinking of parting out the 1990 F250 and hopefully get enough out of it for a new windshield for the 93. $240 installed. does that sound high?
