Speedo drive gear count?
Hey folks,
Just signed on after trolling for a few years, you all have provided a wealth of help THANK YOU ALL.
I have a 1990 F-350 Super Duty with a 7.3 idi, ZF 5speed with drive line parking brake & 5.13 rear end. [2wd]
Would anyone know the driven speedo gear count in the pb unit? My truck, [Lily Rose] has never had a working speedo and it finally came to the top of the fix-it list, found no driven gear, need tooth count on drive to do the math for a new cable gear.

I found an old post on another forum ( 89 f450 5 spd? - Diesel Forum - TheDieselStop.com ) where a guy needed a 16 tooth cable gear when he switched to 4.11 gears. If this is accurate, you'd need a 20 tooth for 5.13s.
