This pick up has caused me a lot of sleepless nights. I've thought about parting it out and using the cab and front clip on my 67 short bed, and the engine/trans in Melody's 66 Ranchero, but the thought of tearing down a sweet complete pick up is something I really don't want to do...
My buddy found a panel in a barn like that. Owner blew the motor at 29,000 miles, and left it for the birds to poop on.
Took him 5 years to get the people to sell it, and another 3 to get it out of the barn.
He put a 292 in it, and now it just sits in HIS garage.
