Yes, they are both 68 beds. The one for Pat is almost flawless too, better than this one.

How many years ran with that style? Was it 67-72

Yes, 67-72. The only difference is trim packages, beds are the same.

This pick up has caused me a lot of sleepless nights. I've thought about parting it out and using the cab and front clip on my 67 short bed, and the engine/trans in Melody's 66 Ranchero, but the thought of tearing down a sweet complete pick up is something I really don't want to do...

How many trucks do you have? That short bed would be nice.

My buddy found a panel in a barn like that. Owner blew the motor at 29,000 miles, and left it for the birds to poop on.
Took him 5 years to get the people to sell it, and another 3 to get it out of the barn.
He put a 292 in it, and now it just sits in HIS garage.

Wait for a couple weeks until we go over to John Day and take pictures and video of Dewey's Stash. Over 100 rigs outside and maybe 30-40 inside. And I get to sell them.....

Parted with one of the pick ups today. 68 chebby stepside low rider.
went to a good home, but I'da rather given up one of my kids!
