frozen hubs
I want to remove and free up my hubs on my ESOF Excursion. I removed the retaining clip and pulled but no budge! What do I need to do and how do I free up the hubs(grease or what?)

Mine are sometimes hard to pull off too. Once you've removed the lock ring, try tapping the hub with a rubber mallet as you pull on it. It'll come off. Once you get them off you may notice that the splines don't have any grease on them - I guess this is normal. I put a very light coat of grease on mine before I slide them back on. When reattaching, make sure the hub slides all the way on (may have to tap it a bit) otherwise the snap ring won't seat properly.

One of my hubs was froze on and took 4 hours to get off. The hubs are aluminum and very soft don't go beating on the outside edge or you'll never be able to turn them. I had to ruin mine and use a slide hammer...Fun fun fun
