Hey Everyone
I know this has been asked before. I'm a new member looking at supercharging my 2012 Ford F-350 6.2 liter gas engine. Is this possible? Can anyone help me.
I am looking for info on this as well . Has any one put a supercharger on an f250 /6.2 ? , I am not looking for a lot of crazy extra power , more for towing up steep grades in the mountains with a heavy fifth wheel. The 6.2 works fine as is but its nice to explore what this motor is capable of .
The only supercharger I have seen is the Whipple set up. I have googled supercharger ford 6.2l and there is an f350 that was supercharged with the whipple set up. It would be nice to see more options out there but I sure the market is not very big when it comes to boosting trucks. You think we would have a tad advantage because of the Raptor market but it seems all the f150 parts would have to be scrapped and new ones made in order to use the supercharger/turbo on the 6.2.
I trust you guys are watching the Twin Turbo Build thread. I don't even own a 6.2L, and I'm checking that thread daily for any possible updates. I'm REALLY interested to see: a) how it all comes together; b) the end result #'s, vs. stock; c) longevity/reliability impacts.
