What transfer case do I have?
I have a 75 f100 4x4. The lever reads 2wd all the way forward then 4wd pulled back. That is how I always have locked in the 4wd. There is no hi or lo? It has the np435.

Not yet I ain't got out there and messed with her since being out for the holidays. Hopefully this weekend for sure. So you think I do have a 4lo? What's the the gear seletion? 2wd 4 hi N then 4lo?

Full time 4wd transfer case that is probably a New Process 203.
NP 203 **** on left , NP 205 **** on right
Look at the front edge of the transfer case for a silver blue tag.
I do not think its a Dana 20...?

I had a 75 like that about 25 years ago, if I remember right it had a dana 21 transfer case, they have a real thin case to them that liked to crack. I replaced it with a 205 after mine broke in half. I believe that there was just 2wd and 4wd in that one

If you are going change it out I would recommend a NP205 they handle about any kind of abuse that you can throw at them. I had a NP203 they are okay but if you put too much power (for instance a 429 SCJ
) to them they will explode too! LOL

back in my day we called them an in-&-out box, they were either in 2wd or 4wd and that was it,no high no low and yes, seen 3 that i remember laying in pieces on the ground. Junk it and go with a NP205 and try to brake it.
