Amazin' how that '34 is all there. Around here, the climate reduces older vehicles to lumps of rust unless they're sheltered. Is the wrecker yours?

If you tow overloaded a lot you should look into umbrella insurance. Your normal auto may drop you if there is a lot of damage or someone is hurt.

Also, I hope your tires are the proper load rating. A family with a superduty had a blowout on the interstate a few years ago towing. It put the truck on it's roof and no one survived... Good tires are no joke.

On a lighter note I love your driving the wheels off an old truck. Too many old trucks end up garaged and hardly driven.

I try to keep it under 7k behind the truck. It handles that pretty well. But sometimes I find myself above that. And I can't say I enjoy towing over 10k with my truck.

Yeah I've got good tires. I'm with you on that one for sure. It's a big part of safety, especially here, where pavement temperatures can run well over 170 degrees in the summer.

I can't say for sure how many miles the truck had when I got it. Either 182k or 282k. But I've put almost another 100 on myself, and it will surely see at least another 100 more before it gets retired, restored, or turned into a off road racer.

That's a lot of mile for when these trucks were new.

Forgot to tell you all...

About two months ago I put a three row champion radiator in the truck after the copper/brass one I had sprung yet another leak.

The Engine runs slightly cooler overall, and more importantly, stays cool under heavy load and high temperatures.

So for anybody that may be considering upgrading, (or even just replacing) their radiator, you can get a champion online for under $200 and it does a fantastic job.

Hmm, looks scary.... I never saw any one stack those cement paver or blocks like that with out any side or head ache board to hold them from coming through the back window.
But if your just moving them a few hundred yds an not driving on the loco road ways..
Please tell use your not going on loco streets like that...

No they only had to go 3 miles at low speed. But I think that's probably about the most weight I have ever put in it. Definitely the most condensed load.

Hey if you had '95 XLT wheels like me, then your truck would match your trailer better
