I'm still putting a set of wheels together after a long project left me stranded, but the new ride will get close to 50 MPG, so my range will be huge I imagine.
Project expected to be completed in the next three months or so, will keep everyone posted
~ I should also mention that I spent two of my retired years as an RV TECH at a number of dealerships in the Memphis TN area.
I still have connections to dealership service areas and suppliers, and the knowledge and skills I own from it will always be available.

That reminds me... I'm a fabricator (welding and machining) for the army, and I was a ASE certified brakes and suspension technician. My certification lapsed, but I guarantee my work.
Here in Southeast Virginia also known as Hampton Roads. I can be anywhere on the peninsula or the south side in under an hour.
The major citie in my area are, Williamsburg, York county, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Va Beach, Portsmouth and Chesapeake.
The military medical facilities in my area are the US Army hospital at Ft Eustis, 1st Fighter Squadron hospital at Langley AFB, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Va and the VA facility in Hampton.
Real close to James Howard VA clinic in Brick NJ, 20 minutes away or the way I drive can be there in ten, but we would have to roll some coal. Any other kind of transport no problem
