Hello all, Just wanted to let you know that this is the Best site Ever!, I've been in quite a few binds with my truck and all I had to do was look Here, THanks Guys!!
I have a '82 F150 2wd 351W who's fuel level sender from the 19 gallon side mount tank has cut through its windings and all I get is when its full....
I've been lookin around for a replacement, no good junkyards anywhere close by, and everyone wants an arm and a leg for new.. now, this guy on EBay has the unit from an '76 F150 with tank in the rear at like 10 bux, would that work for me????
if not, what other options do I have??
THank You all,
and I really appreciate all your help in advance,
I think I'd rather try to repair the original. It's probably only 1 break in the wire, and you might be able to rewrap it or solder it together if you're creative.
