Larry, I see you are from NorCal.
I have a pic of me sitting on one of the golden bears on the Hwy1 bridge over the Klamath River, taken about 1982.
Every time I crossed that bridge I said to myself that I was going to get a pic on those bears, finally one day I did. I guess if I did that today I would be arrested!

There is also a pair of golden bears at the entrance of Cal Expo state Fair. I don't know if they all came from the same mold or not? The ones at Cal Expo are very large.
