Haven't been real active on here for a while. I had a pretty heavy course load at PSU. Anyway I have been without a truck for a while since the state decided that the cancer got so bad that she had to go out to pasture. I don't have the time for a restoration and certainly don't have money for someone else to do it. So i have been looking for another one. The good news is that I finally found one. The bad news is that it is a 2000. I would have preferred an obs but it was a good deal. And the Aluminum bed was hard to pass up.
258,000 miles
Really good condition. Rocker panels and cab corners done in the last year ant the frame was needled and painted then. Interior is dirty but almost perfect otherwise.
Btw it is a 6-spd.
Paid $8,500
Agreed....my last one had wood sides built by me...very functional. 2000 was the good year too I think. The pushrods were stronger in 99 and 2000 than in the 2001-02.

Not the pushrods fool!!!!! The connecting rods!!!
Congrats on the new truck! Looks like it's in pretty good shape. Throw me in the "hater" column when it comes to flatbeds. LOL. I hate the look is all. I'd rather have a regular bed on pretty much everything. It takes more effort to keep from dinging it up on a work truck, but I don't mind putting in that effort to have it look right.

Not that it matters...but im in the hater column...puke on a stick for me...I like my soccer dad bed:-)
Everything's got its plus. I have no use for a bed but the box is handy. Though if a bed was what I needed I'd sure hate the box. It doesn't matter what others think. Nice truck.
