Yes, that small red/blue-stripe having power to it is what engages the relay... if that small wire has power all the time (should have power only in START) then the relay is doing its job.
IOW pull off that small red/blue wire... is the relay still stuck on and the starter spinning? If so, then do as the others have said and beat on it until it stops.
Well I went to the Ford dealership and got a brand new Motorcraft solenoid. Popped that baby in and the truck roared to life. Its almost roadworthy. Thanks everyone for your help. You dont know what it means to me that you helped.
