SAT/NAV antenna differences

Anyone know the difference between the antennas for different years?

2014 GPS/Sat antenna - DC3Z10E893A $30.08
2012 GPS/Sat antenna - 9C3Z10E893C $55.48

I'm looking to relocate mine (2012 F350) for a cab-over camper and came across these different ones.

don't know the difference. Cut mine accidentally (2012 F350), and had to order the second one.. installed easy enough..

The difference has to do with the change in manufacturers of the navigation systems with the change occuring with the 2013 model year.

PM Sent - Thanks!

I've seen where others have relocated to the cowling and seem to have decent coverage. I'm picking my new camper up at the end of January, will see how much it extends over the cab. I'm thinking it might be enough that it would still block at the cowl.

Considering either just making a sheet metal bracket to wrap back over the hood or just biting the bullet and drill holes and mounting it permanently there at the front. I have a bug shield so it would just blend in either way.

Yep, it's actually a RG174 coax with Fakra connectors. I'll probably have to have a custom cable built as it'll end up being longer than most of the extensions. The roof top antenna connects under the dash at the sterring column so it's easy to get to

yep, under the dash is where I accidentally cut mine, while crimping one of the passthru/upfitter connections (don't use a crimper with a cutter on the end!)

RG174 is coax, same as what I said!..

The one I have was used because my Okanagan 117dbl truck camper blocked the roof mounted Antena. With another Antena mounted to the left of the drivers side windshield wiper it never lost signal.
