F350 Issues

I have a ford F 350 super duty XL 40k miles so with that being said here we go

issue 1: Shut truck off a month ago next morning went to start it NOTHING no clicks no nothing so i checked starter its new i checked to see if cylinder was bad its not i can use a screw driver to jump it and i also checked to be sure the wire going to the cylinder had power IT DOES NOT so how i start it is i jump the lead and it starts and runs fine I have replaced the backup netural switch on the trans Still nothing i replaced the sensor under the dash that tells the backup switch its in nuteral or park i have checked the wires no breaks i changed relays and still nothing. only thing i havent done yet is replace the key solenoid where the key goes in

Issue 2: last week the truck was fine driving home when i hit the gas the truck bogged down i replaced the fuel filter and discounted the mass air fuel sensor still acts boggy under a load could it be the cat or throttle pos sensor ?

Issue 3: when we hook up the truck to a computer to check codes the scanners dont see a computer nor pick up their hooked up to anything what would cause the computer to not show up ?
any ideas would def help

thanks

Battery posts and cables are often overlooked, and just as often the culprit. I fixed a truck of a friend this morning for a no-start condition. He had slathered too much grease on the cable ends. They weren't getting good contact to transfer current.
You could have chewed wires from rodents, etc. Our church van has had this happen twice, triggering a CEL. When I would scan it, there was no power to the port. Both times, some critter had chewed the wires to the OBD port.

What year and motor are we dealing with. What scanner or code reader are you using?

First thing that comes to mind is your scanner is not capable of reading the ford codes.

An external, visual inspection of the cables and posts isn't sufficient. You can have a light corrosion film between the posts and connectors that restricts the flow of power, or you can have cables that are degrading underneath the outer coating. They can look fine, but not be.
As far as the O2 sensor wiring, I assume that it goes to the ECM. I'm sure someone that knows better than I will chime in and answer that.
Have you followed the wiring to the OBD port? Chewing through that can cut the power to the port that runs the scanner.

He never mentioned the motor. If it's a diesel, a regular scanner/code reader isn't going to do much for you.

Maybe the throttle position sensor is the issue?

I cant see the other stuff from preventing a cranking situation.

Google that code and see what hits you get.

I checked the voltage of battery this morning after it nearly died after runnin the computer on it. Read 11.7. So I have it on 2amp charge til I get back from work I'm gonna take it out and have it tested. But still gonna replace the throttle sensor just to be safe

Sounds like a badly sulfated battery and a vacuum leak.
Start there, fix the vacuum leak and replace the battery. Clean all codes and start again.
