the challenge....help
Hello all . here's the challenge. ford f-150 engine problems. 1990 2 wdr. I went throught all the checks. Sensors that were changed throttle position, oxygen, MAP, computer water temp, air intake temp, icm , coil, cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs, fuel pressure regulator, . Here's the test results for all the tests...compression test dry 150 (with-in 5 psi of each other) wet 175, check catalytic converters the was good. fuel pressure 40 psi steady running even when engine stalls, removed cross over pipe ran engine still same result runs fine for about 15 secs then stalls out. no oil in water no water in oil. strange thing is no check engine light. engine ground is good also. If you have any hints please let me know. Thanks

Replace the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor, located "above" the thermostat on the 5.8L, probably pretty close to that on the 5.0L. Mine would stall after a couple of minutes of driving (while it was still warming up).
