How do you remove the **** thingy's
On my 51 each **** has a different release mechanism. Some (like the light switch) are real tricky. Oddly enough the shop manual gives detail instructions. I would guess that the shop manual on the 55 covers the *****. Note: I broke a couple of ***** before I thought to look in the shop manual.

There is a tool for this, but a small pick works just as good, even a small screwdriver will work. You pull the ***** out into the "on" position, and you will see a flat piece of metal the **** rests against when its in the "closed" position. On thiws flat piece, there are two notches, you turn the notches counter-clockwise, and the piece comes out.
