Measuring horsepower
I did a search and couldn't find this info anywhere else....
Just bought my new 2003 F-150 XLT Lariat a month ago and am pretty happy with it. I've since installed a Superchip, Flowmaster exhaust and an AirForce One air intake kit. I am wondering how I can get a measurement of the horsepower now with the "toys" added on vs the stock 260 h.p (5.4 V8). I've seen something called a dynanometer on-line but I'm not really looking to spend $400 on something I'd just use once and I'm even sure it provides an accurate measurement. Thanks for any info....

Check to see if anyone in your area has a chasis dyno. Some of the performance shops have them. They usually charge about $75.00 for 3 runs on the dyno and give you printouts of the HP and TQ curves.
