setting tape size

I have a 56 and I have power windows I am going to put in but I see that their is 1 /16 & 1 / 32 tape which one would I use to set the door glass

Hard to say for sure. It will depend on how wide your channel is in comparison to your glass thickness. New glass is different than old, and new channels can be different than originals. You'll have to investigate and perhaps take your parts to a local glass company to get the correct tape.

Duh? Buy the thinner one and double or triple it up if you need to.

That's what I did. It's easier to double the thin stuff than to cut the thick stuff down! Jag
