Flow through Console changeover

So, I'm installing a Flow through console in a 2011 where there was once a jump seat. I am at the point where the air duct extension should connect into the dash ducting, but there is no opening. Has anyone made this connection successfully? With what part?

Scary drilling into the unknown....I wish I could see this area on a truck where there is/was a flow through console to see the difference

Scott! I would have gladly torn mine apart this weekend for you. Unfortunately I am leaving for AZ next weekend. I am very interested in this and will try to help when I can. I might still be able to do it, I am going to try to get the truck super clean before out departure.

Not to hijack your thread but I'm curious as to what goes in that square hole in the left where the black plug with green and black/white wires exit? I have a little cubby in my truck and was just curious.

I had a panel there. I understand it is a switch for some trucks outfitted with something I do not have. So it simply attaches to the back of the panel.

If I found out ,more, I'll let you know.

That is where the airbag switch goes in regular cab trucks.

I knew it was some kind of switch. I wonder if we installed said switch, would it work?

cabindoc,

Not sure if this will help in any way, concerning your original post...but I removed my center console while forging my way to install a secondary USB...long story short, took some photos. Maybe it will help, maybe not but you might be able to search online for the part you will need (?)
