exhaust help needed

exhaust help needed

I have a 91 f250 351w. I just ordered and received a dynomax true dual kit from jegs. I think the only issues that I think I'm going to run into is tapping in my egr and o2 sensor. It's just straight 2.25in tubing. No ports/mount blocks or anything. If anyone has run this or has some input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

The EGR connects to the front of the passenger exhaust manifold so you won't have any issue with that, maybe you're thing about the air injection system? With the stock cats gone you can eliminate this whole system.. it serves no purpose now. You will need to have a bung welded in for the O2 sensor, it can go in the passenger side down pipe near the manifold.

Ok thanks. When deleting the air system, what's the easiest way to take care of the ports on the manifold. I'd like to do shorty headers eventually but don't have them at the moment

What's your budget look like? Now's a good time to get long tubes.

I actually have a set of long tunes somewhere at a friends. But when I tried to run them before on a different truck it wouldn't clear the 4wd

Been there. I torched n bent my headers to make them fit. I ordered 3 sets from summit and kept the ones that fit the best (needed the least bending) then sent the others back. This was prob 8 years ago.

Then I found out on here that pacesetter long tubes fit without any problems.....so when mine rot out that's what I'll be getting.
