M-S-G, The web page provided is for disassembling and lubing the factory "locking hub". You mentioned removing 6 allen screws earlier in this thread. Do you have after market hubs?

I stand corrected. Warn and Mile marker have allens.
I can't imagine many folks are left on the stock set of ford hubs.
I think the OP is still using factory because he said in the "auto" position.

I think I remember reading that the hubs require vacumn to both lock and unlock in auto. Before you tear everything apart check and make sure you don't have a vacumn hose off or leaking.
