Can a 4x4 supercrew be lowered. All the kits I see say for 4x2 vehicles. I use my truck onroad 99% of the time and only use my four wheel drive for a bit of snow or a gravely steep hill etc. I want a little better handling and looks to go with the rest of my mods.
I have a 94 GT Mustang Convertable with a Kenny Brown full road race suspension with Panhard Bar and Trakit plus. Have subframe connectors and all the other goodies like aftermarket shocks, springs, control arms, castor camber plates etc. So I do have a car that can handle.
As for the truck. Like I said I use it pretty much full time on the highway. I'm not going on the baja or the rubicon. I think that a vehicle, any vehicle should be optimized for the type of driving that it does. I am going for, power, fuel mileage, handling and looks. Have put a Borla Cat back split rear exhaust, K@N air filter, Superchip, after market shocks, PIAA Extreme White Plus bulbs, Falken 275/60R/17 rubber. I think that a 3/4 inch drop and a rear stablizer bar would help greatly with handling and looks. It wouldn't detract from the truck's usefullness at all.
