I'm doing a little better today. Not as active as yesterday. I've been getting up more frequently for less time.

Having lived in the north my whole life, I cannot begin to imagine how bizarre it would be to mow the grass in January. Up here in NH where I live, the lawns ceased growing late October and won't resume until late April or early May.

Your winter temps sound fairly pleasant...40's at night and 70's during the day...but I don't think I could stand it in the summer. My *perfect* temps are highs in the 60's and lows in the lower 40's, with low humidity.

I was able to talk with Lynn this morning. Roy is in bad shape, he is in lots of pain and the pain meds are not helping. She said his legs are swelled up real bad also. He needs our payors!

He has an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow morning. And unless they admit him for emergency surgery he is going to get an epidural shot Tuesday morning.
