Montana FW .....Sewer hose storage MOD
There is the stock storage tube along side the frame........
Then I added a longer tube that is under the frame. goes the entire width under the trailer.
The new Storage Tube is adjustable in length.

What my boy did in his 43 foot toy hauler was put LED strip lights in his compartments and let me tell you, they are really lite up. They have a sticky back like tape and you just put them along the side tops of each compartment and hook them into the switch. They are 12 volt and work great. Can't even see them till they are on. I don't know where to buy them he got them from a friend that dose high rise management in Vegas. They switched all there lobbies out to them for cost saving. They sell residents units in these. He had rolls of them at one time. Wish I would of got some.

Roy, those are the lights like I made my reverse lights on the Sandpiper from. I used the clear ones instead of the red like you used. They are SUPER BRIGHT. Did you leave the incandescent lights operable too?
How did you raise the doors? Longer shocks or move the bottom brackets?
Love the mods!

I am also going to add a set of LED backup lights.
2.....Moved up the bottom brackets one hole. Also, removed 5 screws and put back in 3. The 2 innermost screws aren't hanging on to much. I do not believe they are needed.
Thank You Monty.......
This is Fun.....

Fishing the wires should be pretty easy with the hung back wall. This is mod that I will eventually do.I know some people that own Montanas have mentioned they do not like the new Legacy Edition campers because they do not have the rear cap. I tried to explain to a few that with all of the power stuff in the rear, it would be almost impossible to work on the electronics and things if it had a rear cap.

Hi my name is Brandon. I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading through this thread and I look forward to reading more, and hopefully contributing when I can.
Roy you have a gorgeous truck and a beautiful new camper. The mods you have made to your truck have the wheels turning on what I can do to mine.
And from one Sailor to another, have a great day!

Thank you.
I did eight years, and I was a Corpsman attached to Marines. Spent my entire time in with a one Marine unit or another.
