I was gonna order a 30 amp cord with the 50 amp end for when I don't need the 50 amp, but then I have two cords...
I have two pwt cords:
50A
30A
...and every adapter known to man......

I just added a 50A extension cord, 30 ft........Just because my nick name is Tim Allen........

I am sure there is available cord that is made from high strand such as welding wire. While you don't save much in weight, the flexibility makes all the difference.

That said, Roy has it made and the space for a great idea, but not all of us. My guess is I am not telling anyone anything that don't know already...but in case you forgot: Stretch the cord out on a had surface like your driveway and with someone on the other end or if you can hang it in the crook of a tree pull on it and you will feel it torque. Unwind the torque while pulling on the cord. This straightens it and removes the torque...which will come back in use and you repeat the process.

Thanks Don......

So far...unreeling and then reeling the pwr cord goes smoothly.

When coiling any power cord.......the best way is a figure 8 pattern......no twist.

Learned it from Dad.....Navy taught it also.

Best way to deal with a power cord is to let your "assistant" handle it!

Great mods Roy!
