Hey guys, I have an 89 f150 that u just bought and the truck won't go over 35 mph. When it shifts into third gear it just tachs out and doesn't do anything almost as if it's in neutral. I was wondering if any one would know where to start troubleshooting.

What engine and transmission? Look for the trans code on the door tag.
