Part numbers - deciphering question

Hey all,

I have a 2002 Eddie Bauer with two tone interior. I just picked up a used bench seat and am looking at recovering it.
I went to a dealership with my VIN and got the following numbers:

2C7Z-7866600-LAA - 40% upper cover
2C7Z-7863804-LAA - 40% lower cover
2C7Z-7866601-GAA - 60% upper cover
2C7Z-7863805-GAA - 60% lower cover

I also have NH as the Trim code - Medium Parchment

I went online and found what appears to be a perfect match color wise.
Here are the part numbers from the tags on the pictures:

3C7Z-7863805-CAA - 60% lower
3C7Z-7866600-CAA - 40% upper

I assume the 2 vs. the 3 in the front is the difference between 2002 and 2003.
The base part number is the same but the suffix are different. I thought this was the color code?
Why would my suffix letters be different between the 40% and 60% from a color standpoint? ( LAA vs. GAA)
What appears to be the 2003 "version" has a diffferent suffix from mine - different year - slightly different dye? - But I noticed the 60% and 40% now have the same suffix color code?

I am probably splitting hairs, but trying to figure it out - or is this a futile exercise (like figuring out women - )?
