You have a decent job ahead of you and I can say you will run into little issues but shouldn't be anything too big.
While your moving the fuel system over (lines, tank, pump) do yourself a favor and do the In-tank mods and in line filter. Doesn't have to be the expensive route I took but worth doing when you have it empty and swapping. Also bench test the pump mine worked in the donor and when I swapped it over she died.
Check up pipes for leaks while it's out best time to fix or replace. Also do yourself a favor and 50 cent mod the harnesses.
You will want to plan on full fluid changes so add $$$ plus your drive shafts will most likely need to be re-tubed $$$
You will need the accelerator pedal from the donor.
I'm sure I can give you more little nuances as I think more. Ask any questions as they come up and I will shoot you answers.
I did the same swap at work, but it was on an OBS. Took a week. I'd consider a new oil pan while its out. Have fun. Take your time. It with be worth it!
ouch!! they are tough engines.
i had one in a parts truck that was driven 35 miles on 6 cylinders.
with 2 holes in the oil pan.
it still ran when i got it, drove it up on the trailer, and off into the garage to strip it.
Same here, drove it on the trailer and off the trailer,, wouldn't do a burnout tho haha, part of the rod went threw the oil pan, so by the time we pulled the motor it didn't have any oil in it,
