Keyless Entry Code

I just bought a 2001 F-150 Lariat Crewcab, but the dealer did not know the keyless entry (on the door) code and didn't know where to look on the vehicle to find the factory-set code. Does anyone know where I should look on the vehicle to find it?

There should be a black box under the dash somewhere with a white label with 5 numbers on it . This should be the code.

Someone at the dealer would have know how to pull the door code with WDS or NGS.

The dealer can hook up their WDS or NGS and find out what the code is. It also should say on the module which (I believe) is behind the driver's kick panel, like Jimmy said.
