Need Help On C-6 Trans Shift Kit

Update
I got the truck back and it shifts great. I was happy with how it has turned out. Now back to re-installing the intake manifold for the third time, and dialing in the settings on the carb.

Well, well...... high five me in the face with a chair. 
I have the same kit in my C6 and all this time I wondered if something was wrong. When I'm light on the gas, it shifts real early and real soft, like a car. But, when I stomp on it, it shifts at 5500(+)RPM and hard. I thought the early, soft shifting meant something was wrong, that it should shift hard all the time. I'd still like to try playing with the modulator though, just to see. Now I can't wait to get it all back together again........and for the snow to go away. -27C (-16F) here tonight.
