The Ford factory service manual. Haynes and chiltons manuals are passable at best. There is usually someone on ebay selling a copy of the factory manual on CD. Some one here may have a copy they can send you as well.

X2 on the Chilton and Haynes manual to get you started, but to getting an actual Ford manual on CD is the real way to go.
Put is on a junker home computer or lap top to use out in the shop. Or print off what you are about to go work on.
