Thank you

where do I look to get info on slipping an explorer rear end in this 94 f150. And how much wider the f150 rear is than an explorer. I want to run an 18inch wheel with at least a 2inch polished lip and 10 inches wide. Also redrilling the front rotors and turning the hub down to allow 5on4.5 mustang wheels?

Lots of knowledgeable folks here. Someones probably been there, done that.

There's a couple of things you could do to find your answers.

There's a search tab above that could find your applicable questions.

There's also specific model forums on here. To find your F150 forum, go to the forums tab in the black stripe above and go searching.

Good luck,

All I have figured out thus far is it is 44 inches from spring perch to perch and an explorer is 40.5 that wont matter it will get a 4 link and coilovers

There's also other forums that might apply to you. Axle, General Automotive, Projects, etc.

Sometimes answers don't come swift enough as some folks may be busy.

Just go exploring the forums. You should come across someone who could help you out with your questions.

Good luck,

Actually I think that I found my information it seems the explorer rear will be 3 inches per side shorter. So it looks like I will need to get the tape measure out and see if that will work. If I have to mini tub so be it.

I need to get it in and do some measure a few things. I will be putting a turbocharged 349 inch stroker. The fuel system is going to challenge me

thank you I have been hard at work figuring out a few measures on this thing. I think I am going to get the truck in and pull the blown up 5.0 out and prep the engine bay for the new setup. the inner fenders are going to be removed and battery moved to a truck box in the bed. this truck will be the wifes race car hauler. so I am going to have to lighten this pig up. any suggestions?
