Help!!!!
I have a 1986 ford f250 6.9idi 2wd, I just bought it, I was told the injection pump was bad, it poured Whits smoke on the way home, put a new injection pump on it the smk isn't quite as bad, but I barley have any power I can put the pedal to the floor and it just doesnt have the power it should, while I was test driving it with the pedal almost to tthe floor it started making popping noise so I turned around and took it back home, any idea what I need to do? Piston rings, injectors??? I have no clue where to start! Please help!

White smoke
I have the same truck and engine. When mine started producing white smoke I found a blown head gasket on the left side. Replaced it and the problem went away. Just a suggestion, do a compression test.
