The body is just about finished. The cab was the hardest part. I just added a roll pan in the rear with exhaust running through. I have a one piece tilt front end and looking at different front bumper options now. Would like to have the front bumper custom kinda like the 68 cobra look, but keeping the original grill. Just bought a new chrome grill this year.
The weather sucks here in Michigan as well. Trying to do as much inside as possible. I was checking out your albums, if the 56 pickup you are working on turns out anything like your panel it will be nice.
I do like the no bumper look on the front end of your panel. Lots of work getting the project to it's final finished look.
Here is a video of my 1956 ford truck f100. Currently running open headers. The air bags work great, had to add 1000 psi hoses just to make sure they would not get cut or torn from being under tuck exposed. Lots of mods, thought the video would be a good way to show the work done.
John,
The Cab is ready to install all body work is complete. Was going to finish the exhaust and have the brakes double checked. The brakes are disc front and back was going to add a proportion valve in rear line. Then install cab after that.
Gary,
I picked the 350 because of the Camero front end, the motor mounts lined up nicely.
