I have a 2007 350 with a 6.0.Is there any reason why you can't just use the oil pressure test port on the front of the oil filter housing Base for the temp gauge? Many guys say they buy a new billet alum oil filter cover and tap and thread it. I have come across anyone that says use the pressure port for a temp sender
Well I don't want to remove anything that is there and lose the obd functions. As far as using the factory sending unit, can you put the sending unit for the factory oil temp in parallel with an after market gauge?
Has anyone used the unused factory oil pressure port that is on the front of the oil filter plate for a temp sender?
