2010 5.4 phaser problem
Just thought i'd post a video of my 2010 at work.
it did this once before, but never turned on the CEL. I ended up taking it to a dealer for some other stuff and they scanned it and pulled a pending phaser code at that time.
it hasn't done it since (last fall sometime), but did it again here this week.... got it on video this time.
VERY rough idle and lots of noise from the front of the engine when it happens. Happens very sporadically and usually clears up if you rev it up to about 3,000 rpm or so a few times.
not sure how i'm going to get it fixed since it won't do it on command, and wont turn on a CEL when it happens (but it does set a pending code).
i have another video from the front if it ever gets done uploading.
