Cleaning out the mouse nest...
My 85 F250 6.9 snow plow truck has been sitting all summer and mice have built a nest in the duct work. From what I can tell they built the nest right behind the fan and I can't see a mess anywhere else. I've removed the fan and pulled it out. I noticed that the ductwork seems to flow down the side of the truck. There are some rectangular panels that I discovered when I removed the side plastic in the cab.
I pulled the rectangular panels off and there was a lot of solid crud down in there. Could not tell if was a bunch of old nests or compressed rotted leaves? Looks like it was there for years. Both sides had the crud. Pulled out what I could. If I stuck a hose in there would it drain out onto the ground?
Thanks,
redbug
