odometer/pick-up bed light
I have a '01 F150 SuperCrew with key less entry. Sometimes, when I hit the open button on the key less remote, the pick-up bed light doesn't come on. If I then lock it and then reopen it, it will then come on. Also, I've noticed that sometimes while driving my digital odometer will go out for about 5secs. and then come back on. What would cause these problems? Are the related? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Your best move is to buy a Ford/Helm service CD for your year of truck and follow the diagnostic steps. It's by far the most reliable resource for you to own, and can be had off eBay for under $20 delivered to your door.
