Hot tranny flush tomorrow

Just bought truck a week ago or so.. As some of you know. Trans lines to the cooler where not hooked up as it was leaking coolant into trans. I figured that out after purchase. Fluid on stick didn't look that bad put once I dropped the pan to do filters it looked like pepto bismo..
I did the normal filters and fluid change but I know there is still 10 quarts of junk fluid in there.
Dropping truck off in the am for a hot flush. Anything I should tell them? Like take the external filter out before flush. I plan on replacing that one anyways (again) once I get the truck back.
Any other recommendations?
Thank you all!
And yes.. New mishimoto radiator and trans lines are hooked back up

You should ask them if you can watch and film the hot flush

Hopefully it's a true heated flush....very few places actually have it. Many times people have ordered a heated flush and received a dump and fill instead. Or they get a regular flush that won't accomplish much, due to the internal thermostat not opening.

Who's doing it?

He might let me record some.

I know everywhere around me in md no one had one or knew of anyone that has one

I would be weary of what he's trying to sell you. You might just be paying top dollar for a drain and fill

Take a picture of the machine anyway if you can. We would like to know what one looks like (and verify that at least one does exist lol).

Ask them what temp the fluid is when it goes in. (Wait for their answer)

Mark K. was an engineer at ford that help develop the trans.....he says it needs to be at least 175°. Looking for that thread.....
