I think its injector time again
Pretty sure my early 99 needs a set of injectors got about 400k on it and it's using a gallon of oil probably every 100 -200 miles pretty sure it's going to the fuel.
I'll be going threw rosewood my thoughts are...
What injectors would you guys go with?
Which would have the best resale value if I had to ever sell them but most likely never will.
The truck is just a work truck with a service bed
I'm thinking just the premium stock rebuild for $1235. I'd have to get a chip reburned if I did the 160/30 which I like they make my f450 run like a champ
I got a 95 f450 to tow or haul with and a 97 f250 4x4 toy so all the early 99 needs to do is haul the service bed

What other mods are done to the truck? A 450 with 4.88 gears is going to run high rpm's and egt's so you'll want to keep that in mind.
Have you emailed Jim to get his input? I'd skip the resale aspect and just get what's going to work well for you. If you don't mind getting the tune reburned, maybe switch to a single shot injector like you've got on your other trucks.

Actually the f450 has 3.73 gears previous owner changed it kinda wish it had atleast 4.30 in it but it still moved a 15k trailer today.
The 99 truck is stock expect for 6637. I wish I could talk myself into hybrids for the 97 but it would need head studs and push rods
Don't single shots get better mileage?

They can if they shoot less fuel. For the super duty's, singles means a stage 1 upgrade, and usually an injector upgrade means you tend to mash on the pedal more because it's fun. Mashing the pedal more of course leads to worse fuel mileage.
