looking at another truck

Well found another truck. 72 HB. Needs front cab mounts and some electrical work but other than that looks like its in good shape for AK. 1500 bucks though. Heading over monday to fire it up and all that. It has all the trim, center and the lower race track trim. That will all need to go. I really dont like that stuff though. It will be a good wood truck though.

What is race track trim. If if is a decent stock truck, why customize it? Buy a Chevy.
What year is it? My 75 XLT Ranger has white stripe tires and wheel covers like the red
one on the brochure cover. Working a.c. too.

John....Race trac trim...1st 5 pics or the very lower 3" trim, last 3 pics? Either can trap dirt and make for a place to grow rust.

Elk, you can never really have to many trucks, IMO.

Those great dent sides

I found a twin to our 75. It's the blue one with the white stripe tires.
However, ours was sold by a Minneapolis Ford dealer as the Viking Edition.
It's purple.
