Aaron. I have seen that light come on when the door opens to light up the area for ingress.

 

Hmm, I guess that's a possibility. I just thought since they shine back and not down must be reverse. My hope is in reverse they will help to see when backing up.

 

 

Looking good Aaron. Those mirrors wouldn't be for me, but that doesn't matter. If you like them and they work well for you that is all that matters. The workmanship is excellent on the install of them. You need to get that thing back on the road!

I sure wish I had bigger news on this deal. Did a bunch of moving and cleaning . For rid of several things and made much needed room.
Clifford actually made it on to the road for maybe 30 seconds. Now I can get to the rear half and get some stuff done back there.
Sadly waiting on the body guy to take the cab.

i wish I could say I had more done. I have been working on it tho.
I cleaned and painted inside rear bumper. I sanded and painted the silver step plate portion and polished the chrome. I ordered a new upper pad from Ford. It's available still lucky for me. The bumper got all hardware cleaned and painted. After figuring out Wich bracket when where it's temporally installed. I planned on installing the hitch I had powder coated...after much deliberation it is not correct and not getting used.
I also removed the fuel tank and added a fast fill nipple welded in. I modded the pickup assembly to pick up properly and sender to work like it should.
Tank is back in .
I have ordered and received new stainless brake line kit from inline tube. Also kilmat sound deadner for dash is here.
I have got a project for a buddy that helps me every time I need him to lend a hand. We are doing thru floor subframe connectors with kicker bars to land a roll bar later. It should be tied together pretty well in preparation for big horsepower later.
Also selling my Navi in favor of another obs for DD duties.
